ITI is the best course to get a job after 10th. Various ITIs are available across the country. They impart vocational and technical training to the students and provide employment. There is a huge demand for ITI students in government departments. ITI graduates can get employment in factories in public and private sectors. One can get admission in a two-year, one-year course in ITI and specialize in technical education only with TEN qualification. With this, there is a high chance of getting employment at a young age. Almost every year there are vacancies for ITI Trainees in Railways, Army, Navy, Airforce, Irrigation, BHEL, HAL, SAIL, NTPC, ONGC etc. Private companies like Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Honda, ITC, Mahindra are recruiting ITI students on a large scale.

The state government provides scholarship during ITI training. After completion of ITI course apprentice should be trained in any industry for a specified period of time. 70 percent of the training time is devoted to practical training. The remaining 30 percent of time is allocated to trade theory, work calculator and science, engineering drawing, library and extracurricular activities. Preference will be given to those who have worked as an apprentice in job placements. After taking ITI training one can do polytechnic to pursue further education. Students who pass ITI in the three-year polytechnic course are directly admitted to the second year. Admission can be obtained through entrance in second year of B.Tech after Polytechnic. Under the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, loans are given without any collateral to the youth who have studied ITI to get self employment.
